John obtained his Juris Doctor at the University of Kentucky, College of Law in May of 2011, and was admitted as a member of the Kentucky Bar in October of 2011. John served as an Assistant County Attorney from 2011 until 2017 when he joined Rowady Hendricks Law. As a prosecutor John handled Dependency, Neglect, and Abuse Cases; Child Support Collection and Enforcement; Paternity Establishment; and prosecuted criminal offenses. As a former prosecutor John has a unique prospective on all aspects of a case. Since 2011, John has been primarily focused on Family Law while also offering services in Estate Planning, Personal Injury and civil litigation.
Emily obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Kentucky, College of Law in May of 2019, and was admitted as a member of the Kentucky Bar in October of 2019. Through the course of her legal career, Emily has become a devoted family law attorney, specializing in divorce, custody, and adoption matters. Emily also serves clients in several other areas of law including criminal law, probate and estate matters, and civil litigation. Emily sits on the AppalReD Legal Aid Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for CASA of Clay, Knox, and Laurel Counties. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her dog Poppy!
